Arsenal will face a trip to League One Blackpool in the FA Cup third round on Saturday afternoon and it will be Unai Emery’s first taste of the world’s premier club competition. However, Emery is sure to ring the changes with his star performers having been busy over the festive period and it’s likely the Gunners will give some young stars the chance to shine.

Blackpool v Arsenal Tips
Blackpool have beaten Exeter and Solihull Moors to reach the third round and this glamour tie is sure to attract a big crowd, but the Tangerines are certainly not hitting the heights of eight years ago when they faced Arsenal in the Premier League, so it’s no surprise to see the Gunners installed as the 1/4 favourites with Ladbrokes to claim victory on Saturday,
This weekend’s clash won’t be the first time the pair have done battle this season, as the north west side had to travel to the Emirates Stadium in late October to face Arsenal in the fourth round of the EFL Cup, and to be fair they did well, only losing 2-1 to the Gunners.
Emery is likely to name a similar side as he will rest some key players and give some young guns the chance to shine, but even with a second string out the Gunners should prove too classy for their rivals and can complete a comfortable victory.
Blackpool were last seen losing 1-0 to Sunderland in the league, but they could tinker with their side a little here, as they could be eyeing up a possible play-off run in League One, and if Terry McPhillips does change things up then they could be set for a drubbing from a young Arsenal side looking to show Emery that they are worthy of a start in the league.
With the win market offering little value then why not get stuck into the goals market and the 11/8 with BetVictor for there to be over 3.5 goals looks a cracking bet, while the 16/5 with the same firm for there to be over 4.5 goals could also be worth backing on Saturday.
Emile Smith-Rowe scored when the sides last met and the young talent could be ready to sparkle again and the 7/1 with Paddy Power to score first looks a decent bet, while Joe Willock is another eye-catching player at the Gunners and he could be worth backing as a safety net, and the 9/1 with Betfair is fair value.
