Cardiff head into the match as a 2/1 chance for only a fifth home win of the season and it is tough to know how they will react to what has been a testing few weeks for them, with the sad disappearance of Emiliano Sala putting a huge strain on the whole club.
The worry for Cardiff is that they haven’t score at home goal since 22nd December and they have scored just 12 goals on home soil all season. The Bluebirds have failed to score in four of their last six league games overall and ticking ‘no’ in the ‘Both Teams To Score’ bracket offers odds of 5/4 (Bet Victor).
It is a tempting bet as at least one team has failed to score in eight of the Cherries’ twelve away games in all competitions this term. AFC Bournemouth have only scored twelve goals on the road during this campaign, failing to score in four of the last five in the process, and they have been dreadful on their travels.
Eddie Howe’s men have lost nine of their twelve away matches, including the last seven in a row, so they make little appeal for the win at 13/10.
However, they are a tempting bet to be winning at half-time at 21/10 with Bet Victor as Cardiff tend to start games very slowly. Neil Warnock’s men are yet to lead at half-time in any league game and it might be worth backing Bournemouth to start quicker in a low scoring clash.
