France v Peru Odds
The French were indebted to the intervention of the VAR in their opening match on Saturday and Didier Deschamps’ men can surely only improve from here on out. They are 8/15 for victory in the latest France v Peru Odds and it bodes well that they have only lost one of eight internationals since qualifying for these World Cup finals in Russia, winning five and drawing two.
The French have scored two or more goals in seven of their last eight outings and they are 4/6 to score over 1.5 goals against a Peruvian side that is a joy to watch, albeit they are defensively suspect.
Ricardo Gareca’s men were left ruing their luck as Christian Cueva missed a penalty during their 1-0 defeat to Denmark in their first Group C match, which means they simply have to win on Thursday. They are a very technical team but they will be vulnerable to French counter-attacks and we are going to back a France win combined with over 2.5 goals in the match at 31/20 with Coral.
The Peruvians managed to keep just three clean sheets in their 18 games during the South American section of qualifying for this World Cup and they will do well to keep Antoine Griezmann quiet this week.
Griezmann has scored 21 goals for France and his pace ensures he is a stand-out 7/5 to score at anytime with Paddy Power, although it is France to win a high scoring game which is the best bet for the first meeting between these two nations since France won a friendly 1-0 back in 1982.
