Jose Mourinho’s men are currently second in Group H, two points behind Juventus, and they can seal qualification to the knockout stages with a win at Old Trafford. They are 2/7 for the three points.

Manchester United have been in poor form at home, winning only three of their nine games in front of their own fans, but they should still have too much qualify for a Young Boys side that can’t progress.

The Swiss side, who were crowned champions of their domestic league for the first time in 62 years last season, must win on Tuesday to have any chance of qualifying for the consolation of the Europa League, but they have a poor record in Europe – winning only two of their last 14.

Young Boys don’t travel well either as they have won just one of 16 on the road in European competitions and they will struggle at Old Trafford, where United have been beaten only four times in the past 24 European matches.

The Red Devils beat Young Boys 3-0 when they visited Switzerland for the reverse fixture in September and they should have too much quality again, albeit it could be hard work.

United have hardly been prolific at home, so the United win and under 3.5 goals combined looks like a decent bet – 23/20 with Coral – and the 2-0 correct score is available at 6/1 with BetVictor.
