PSG v Liverpool Preview
This is a high-pressure fixture in Champions League Group C as PSG won’t be able to qualify from the group if they lose on Wednesday and Napoli beat Red Star Belgrade in the evening’s other group game.
However, only Real Madrid and Barcelona have beaten PSG at home in the Champions League since 2004, and the French side are 23/20 favourites on Wednesday night.
Liverpool did beat PSG 3-2 at Anfield earlier this season and they will qualify for the knockout stages if they win and Red Star draw or lose against Napoli. The Reds are 3/1 for a rare away win.
The Premier League outfit have lost both away games in the Champions League this season and they’ve only managed to win five of their past 21 on the road in the competition, drawing eight and losing eight.
With that in mind, the draw is a stand-out bet at 23/10 with Betfair and the score draw can be backed at 7/2 with Boylesports.
PSG have won only once in their last seven European outings and both teams have found the net in all of those matches. With that in mind, both teams to score can be backed at 4/9, while both teams to score and over 2.5 goals combined is 7/10 with Coral.
It is difficult to imagine a situation where there isn’t a glut of goals and Mo Salah is 6/4 to score at anytime after notching six goals in his last seven outings for Liverpool.
