Southampton go into their FA Cup third round replay with Derby County as 13/20 favourites with bookmakers on Wednesday night, although it is difficult to back the Saints with any great confidence.
Having played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the original tie, another entertaining clash seems likely…

Derby win with ‘draw no bet’ | 31/10 |

Derby dominated possession during that first match in the East Midlands and yet they head into this game as 9/2 underdogs. Their manager, Frank Lampard, knows all about winning this trophy as a four-time FA Cup winner during his playing days and he will be relishing the opportunity to cause a cup upset with Derby.
The Rams are 31/10 to win with the ‘draw no bet’ with Unibet and they look far more appealing at the prices, even if the Championship outfit have won only one of their last seven games in all competitions.
Southampton, who reached the semi-finals of this tournament last season, have improved since Ralph Hassenhuttl was appointed manager and yet they have won just once at home all season, drawing five and losing four in the process.
The Saints have seen both teams score in each of their past five on home soil, yielding 18 goals in the process, so a punt on both teams to score and over 2.5 goals provides a combined price of 13/10 with William Hill.
Both teams scored in five of Derby’s last seven games as well, producing 21 goals in total, and it is worth noting that Lampard’s men have conceded at least two goals in four of their last five away games.
This could be a thriller.
