Watford v Tottenham Odds
Watford and Spurs are two of only four teams to still have one hundred per-cent records after the first three games of the Premier League campaign, although it will come as no surprise to see that Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham are 8/13 favourites for the three points this weekend.
Tottenham haven’t lost a game to Watford since tasting defeat in the 1994 League Cup, winning 10 and drawing three since then, and you have to go all the way back to 1987 for when Watford last beat Spurs in a league encounter.
Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road last season but we fully expect them to win this one, even if Hugo Lloris misses out through injury. The absence of Lloris is a blow and that could bring both teams to score in to play as Spurs never look as solid without their French keeper in the line-up.
The Tottenham win combined with both teams to score is 9/4 with Betfred.
Harry Kane has taken a liking to Watford in the past as he has scored four in six against Watford in the Premier League and he is 5/2 favourite to score first, which might be worth a look as he has scored 19 goals in his past 16 league starts on a Sunday!
However, we’re going to back the in-form Dele Alli to score anytime at 27/11 with Unibet. Alli has been in good form this season and the 22-year-old loves playing Watford, against whom he has scored four goals in his past five appearances.
